Scribble is a wonderful option!

You can format your journal in any way you like with the provided tags and variables. The pages load quickly, although sometimes Scribble experiences server problems. The community is somewhat large, and by clicking through the "5 Most Recent Scribbles" section on the front page you can get an idea of what some people are doing with their Scribbles. Good option for beginners especially!
