Uhm, I love it! It's a great service, even if the owner is a little stressed out about everything and hasn't had a lot of time to devote to it recently. It's obviously the result of a lot of time and effort put forth for no monetary reward whatsoever!

...or something. Be nice?

lol @ Stephen.

I think Diary-x is excellent, I've had no problems with it whatsoever. I also like the journaling script that Stephen released but I have decided to just use his Diary-x service for my journal and use his script for another project in the future.

I have used Stephen's journaling script for nearly a year and it is the most comprehensive I have found. Plus, it was easy to install and the online installation guide was a big help.

I had a diary-x account for a limited time while I was in the process of switching hosts and acquiring my own domain. It is an awesome service.

I have also set up friend's user accounts at diary-x and they swear by it. The site is rarely down and truly gives the diarist the control over their layout. It is an excellent resourse. And Stephen himself is open to answering questions if you email him and ask real nicely. =)

Anyway: If you're looking for a great diary server--go to diary-x. The end.

It's very easy to use. Flexible if you want to design your own layout, but fine if you don't.

Also, the image hosting is a bargain at a buck a month. Certainly worth the price.
